Gushing vaginal discharge but not urine. HELP!

Hello everyone! I am hoping you may be able to help me. I have been having clear watery leakage daily since my TAH in 1/14. I have to wear a pantyliner/pad every day!!! Brought it to the attention of my gyno this week and she had me do the tampon test. The tampon came out clear, so yay, it's not urine. But it's still here and I don't know what is causing it! The doc then washed her hands of it since the tampon was clear and just told me to diet. ***? Thanks for nothing, doc.

After doing some research, I feel that it is a fistula of some sort, but if it isn't urine that I'm leaking, what is it and where do I go to get it addressed properly? I'm not completely convinced that it is from this hysterectomy surgery-I started having some issues with this preop also-but I wonder if it is something that has gotten worse, or was made worse from the last surgery. I have had two c-sections and the TAH, so maybe there is some kind of abdominal fistula somewhere. Or is it somehow related to premenopause/hormones/lack of hormones? (I do still have my ovaries)

I need help! I mean, who wants to wear a pad every day? If I don't, it gushes so bad, it looks like I have wet my pants. After 1.5 years of this, I've really reached my limit.

Make an appt with a Urological Gynecologist.....hopefully you can get some better answers.

This is not normal. Something is leaking, either it's urine or it's peritoneal fluid. Keep trying to find a physician who will address this. If it's leaking from somewhere then there's also a risk of infection, as both the bladder and peritoneal cavity are supposed to be sterile. Like the previous lady said try a uro/ gynecologist first. If that doesn't work try a general surgeon.

The doctor can have you take different dyes to eliminate options of where the fluid is or try more scans. I agree you need a second opinion. So sorry you are dealing with this!

Your thread reminded me of some previous ones about lymph drainage from the vagina that seemed similar to you. I remember being a bit mystified by this at the time. I did a search for posts using "lymph drainage" to make sure I was remembering this right and some did come up. Since none of those sisters have responded to your thread, you might want to do this search yourself.

I'm not saying this is what you have but maybe? I agree with the other sisters encouraging you to see a specialist. Sometimes the road to diagnosis can be long and frustrating. But what you are experiencing does not seem right and you shouldn't just live with it until someone can tell you what is actually going on.

I was having this for a couple of months pre TAH on 23 Oct 2015. I was seeing a acupuncturist who said it was high female hormone causing it.
Get it checked just in case.
