achoo ive got a cold & surgery is schedguled

ok ive got a cold theres no cough just sneezing & a stuffy nose my surgerys on the 12th my pre op is on the 8th
my bug ??????? is will i still be allowed to have my surgery if i have a cold ? ive been waiting so long im doubling up on the cold meds too but does anyone thing it wont go ahead or will i have to wait till feb???

Feel better soon! Chances are if you have a cold you will not be able to have surgery so keep taking the medicine and make sure you get plenty of rest this weekend.

Be sure to be completely honest with the DRs. You don't want to keep them in the dark about this. Let them make the decision to proceed or postpone based on all the facts. They will be able to make the decision that will be safest for you. Don't want anything life-threatening to go on during your surgery or your stay at the hospital.
