Hi ColdInMn,

Try reading a book or popping in your earbuds and listening to your favorite music. Or download some meditation or soothing sounds to play as you try to drift off. I'm an insomniac and what I like to do is put a documentary on TV ... interesting enough to stop my mind from whirling but not interesting enough to stay awake for.
