I know prior to surgery that you are not suppose to get your fingernails done. However, there isn't any reason why you can't get your toes done the day before surgery, right?
Im thinking a leg wax is in order too!

I would check with your Doc about the waxing. Some of them don't want you to. Something about infections or bacteria or something. Some don't even want you to shave:/ There are a few articles about it I think. I got my toes Red and fingers done with clear polish and fun tips of sparkling red on my fingers so that was ok

That's interesting! I know with waxing there is a slight chance of infection from ingrown hairs or something like that Ill ask. I dont care so much about that anyway. I dont wax regularly. It would just be nice not to have to worry with shaving for a while.
Pedi?? yes tho..I think Ill need a girlfriend day on the 15th.

In Australia no nail polish is allowed on fingers or toes.
I have had two procedures done in 10 week both under a general and they actually checked my finger and toes both times.

All the best

I think each dr/hospital is different. I was told no fingernail polish but my toes were fine. I did go for a pedi 5 days after my castle trip! Enjoy!
