2 weeks post-op

It's been two weeks Post-op and I am FINALLY starting to feel somewhat normal. I was a fast paced on the go female. This down time is killing me, but I don't want to over do it too soon so I am following the doctors and my family members orders/suggestions. What I miss most right now is church.
I go for my post surgery follow-up on tomorrow. I have several questions for the doc on things that I figured should be better by now. Hopefully she will have some answers for me.

I was virtually housebound for the first three weeks, and I am usually very fit and active. I took three Sundays off church because I didn't think I could sit down on a pew that long. I found I started to feel alot better by four weeks and now I'm over six weeks and am feeling quite good now.

It does get better, it is major surgery. I hope you feel better soon.

I felt the same way. Two weeks isn't a long time, just try to be patient. I felt pretty good after a week, but I had to remind myself that I'll be healing for a long time. It's better to take your time than to put yourself back unnecessarily. Being healthy is worth the wait.
