TAH: Today's The Day!!! Finally!!!

Hi everyone!

Well it's 7:52am Tuesday (Aussie Time) and today is my surgery day. No food after 7am (that's been and gone!) and only black tea or water till 10am. Have to be at hospital by 12 noon for blood tests etc before surgery at 2pm.

Apparently we Aussies don't have a "pre-op" day prior to surgery day like the rest of you ladies seems we have it a couple of hours prior to surgery itself.

I'm surprisingly calm and I give thanks to all you ladies reading this thread as each and everyone one of you have helped in some way to keep me that way. Whenever I am NOT on my computer checking out this site my hubby is asking me why I'm not

My hospital is over 200kms away from my town so we left home yesterday afternoon and wouldn't you know it ... just before I jumped in the shower I sat on the loo for a quick pee and BANG .. the pain I get around ovulation time hit me like a MACK TRUCK .. Hubby was running for pain killers, hot packs, pillows etc ... he's so sweet! He said "She knows ... your uterus knows your relationship with her is ending and she wanted to give you a quick slap in the face before you took her down" ...

So I bid you all farewell pre-op and look forward to telling you "it's all good" in post-op.
