6wk appt tomorrow...wish me luck!!!

I'm a little nervous about tomorrow, not really about the exam. I'm afraid he'll tell me that my vag. cuff isn't healed. I continue to have some heaviness if I'm up too long, mostly bladder related. I know that I'm not physically ready for work because I'm a nurse and will be on my feet consistly for 12-14 hours a day. Luckly I work with my doctor and I'm pretty sure he'll give me the time I need.

Hope all is well with my fellow 6 weekers. You continue to be in my prayers.

Hi Denise,
Good luck with your appt. I am 1 week ahead of you I had a TAH on 1-17 05. I am a medical asst. and I have not went back to work yet, my doctor apt. is on 3-9-05. I also still have the heavy feeling when I'm up and doing things so I understand your feelings about going back to work, we all just have to do what we and our doctors feel is best for us.

I am having my 6 week check-up tomorrow as well. Hope both of ours go well and smoothly. Not back to work yet - waiting to see what doctor says when I go in. Still have some pain, heaviness, can't bend, tired, etc. Just the usual post-op stuff, I guess. Let me know how it goes for you.
