Numb Thighs After Lymph Node Removal
During my TAH on 3/22, I had 18 lymph nodes removed. Afterwards I noticed that the tops of both my thighs were numb. One was much worse than the other. I also had limited mobility in one leg -- had to literally pick it up to bring it into bed and couldn't cross that leg over the over. Now, 6 weeks later, one thigh is totally improved and the other still gets numb. I am able to get into bed with no problem. Sometimes when I walk I feel like I'm straining. My hubby says I'm not limping but I feel like I am. Surgeon told me that it can take up to 1 year to totally improve and sometimes it doesn't improve 100%.....depending on how much trauma was done to the nerves. Anyone else having or had this problem?
