5 weeks -- is this normal?

I'm sure its just healing pain, but wanted to check and see. I am now experiencing achey pain radiating from my sides/back ( kidney area) that wraps around my hips then down to my pelvis area around the ovary area
I'm a little concerned because I know I over did it last week. Yesterday I was sore and crampy with swelly belly, the swelly has not gone down.
I've tried my ibuprofen but the ache is still there.

I am 7 weeks out and still have those type of days after I do a lot. The pain is in my back which I think might be due to compensating for my stomach not being strong enough yet. My tummy is usually swollen after a night of work too. But I definitely see improvement, sometimes not as quickly as I like. Hang in there and good luck.

I'm almost five weeks and feel the same. My back is the worst and I also have that radiating pain. Worse after too much activity. You're aren't alone.....hang in there.

I am at 8 weeks and I agree that it's our back compensating for our tummy muscles. I went to the chiropractor today and it helped a lot. He adjusted me while I was laying on my back...

Wine helps too... Lol
