Question about anti-depression medication

ahhhh. I see. I think the extended release is the key for me. It's a slow metering of 37.5 mg and I do really well with it.

I have only a few night warms and my sleep is not as good at night. Those are the only menopause symptoms I've noticed besides requiring the Effexor for moods, etc. Since I'm not on HRT, I needed help in that area.

I do believe I had been going through perimenopause for many years prior to my hyster, so it wasn't as big a shock to my system and it can be for some women.

Best wishes for a full, speedy recovery!

Question about anti-depression medication

I have been on antidepressants for many years also. I take zoloft 50mg and amitriptyline 25 mg. My doctor told me if I am extra stressed can take and extra amtriptyline tablet a day, but I only take one. They help me a lot.

I did get stressed and have some crying spells since having my hysterectomy, but feel it was because of the surgery and the fact that I couldn't do things for myself. Once I was farther along in recovery and more independant those feelings have left me.

I am also worried about my fiances as I am off now with no income. The bills are falling behind and it bothers me, but I feel the antidepressants help me not to completely fall apart about it. I go back to work 9/23 and will start getting checks again on 10/7 so I am going to trust in the Lord that he will help me through this.

I have to keep in mind that my surgery was necessary as I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer 1A and that my health comes first. I have communicated with my creditors and explained what is going on and so far they have been understanding.

Take Care.
