Hysterectomy: May 11th, 2011

Surgery Type: TAH

Ovaries: Removed both

one day postop doing great

Hi ladies! I'm 19 hours postop and doing great! I had a spinal with duramorph combo instead of general aenesthesia. Whatever sedative they gave me knocked me out before I even got to the OR. The surgery took 3 hours because my bladder was attached everywhere
But it all went well. Glad its over with. Already have my cath out. Was able to pee right away. Already went on walk too. Slow but steady. I'm itching like a fiend grom the duramorph drip though
Benadryls not doing much. All in all is good though. How is everybody else from 5/11? Love to all. And thx for your support. Its made all the difference in the world.
