Constipation (muscle isnt working)

Hi, I'm now 5 wks post op. I had a TVH. I see that alot of us are having problems with BMs....What concerns me is not only the constipation....I am taking colace and that does help me....but it seems that the muscles we use to push...just doenst seem to be there...I try to push but nothing happens...is anyone having this problem? I'm really becoming worried..

I have similar problems. I will be 4 weeks this Wed. I am very active and have been since my 2nd week. Some days I get lucky and everything works like it should and then bam it's like it all forgot what's supposed to come out down there. when I have to I just take correctol. It seems to do the trick.
