Ovarian Cysts = ?

What are ovarian cysts from? How do they form? What are the problems resulting from having them? Sisters, I need some advice and information to pass along to my sister in law. I figured if anyone knew it would be this group of women. Also, how does this affect fertility?

Corpus Leutum cysts : thats what orms when the egg is aboutt o be released .

Blood cysts : could this be endo related ?

Im not sure what other kinds there are .

Most cysts are a normal part of the cycle, as JemimaJ said, Corpus Lueteum cysts form monthly when an egg ripens and releases in preparation for fertilization. There are also hemmoragic cysts and chocolate cysts. Chocolate cysts are also called endometrioma's, they can form when you have endometriosis. Endo can definitely affect fertility. The only other type of cysts I know of are the ones caused by PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome). PCOS can be a cause of infertility also. Try looking up ovarian cysts on WebMD, you should be able to get some answers there.
