scheduling question

the majority of TVH/LAVH patients are usually allowed to drive after 2 weeks. Of course you'll need to do what YOUR Dr tells you. Ask him why he doesnt want you driving until the 3 weeks mark. TVH/LAVH are minimally invasive surgeries that dont require alot of down time; meaning recovery time is generally 4-6 weeks. Most women find theyre feeling fairly well after a couple of weeks and start adding more activities into their day, working back up to some sort of normalcy.
With all that said, nobody knows how theyre going to feel/heal after a surgical procedure---some people are the norm, some heal quicker than the norm, and some are slow healers that require more than the normal healing times. I know people who've had a TAH and were back to work in 6 days; also know people who've had TVH and needed the full 6 weeks + to heal---so you never know.
