cold spot
I have noticed a large cold spot in the middle of my abdomen, I think where my uterus was. It is very cold most of the time. Has anyone else experienced this? I am about 11 weeks out from TAH/BSO. I would appriciate any comments.

Uhmmm not sure, poor circulation to that area from nerve disruption due to surgery? Phone the Dr. and ask about it, it surely can't hurt and would ease the mind. Take care!

cold spot
I had an appendectomy when I was younger. The area below the scar(not as big of a scar as for TAH) has always been colder than the rest of my belly. I figure it is a blood vessel thing? Carolyn

I did not want to bother the doc, I was just hoping I was not the only one.

I know it can be frustrating to call your dr sometimes. But often they are the best ones to answer your questions and to let you know if you need to come in for an office visit. My GYN and I called each other several times during my recovery, and as issues arise, I still call, and he still calls me! A good dr wants to know when you are concerned so they can help you.
I have never heard of your situation before but I think I would call the dr. My best guess would be something to do with possibly a lack of circulation as others mention, but I honestly don't know.
Best wishes to you and do keep us posted.
