Will My Underwear Fit?

I'm wearing reg undies-but some of mine bother me and some don't. The first thing I put on the next morning when the catheter was removed was a pair of men's running shorts-they have a panty built in and it goes up to the waist band. The waist band is elastic and draw string so you can have it as loose as you want-very comfy. I'm also wearing cycling tights-it feels good to have a bit of support on the swelly belly. Good luck

When I was at the hospital they gave me these like boy short mesh underwear. I wore them there and asked for 2 pair to take home. On day 5 I tried on the underwear my mom had bought which were 2 sizes up from my norm. They were so snug, I asked my mom to get me even the next size up. I wore those until about 10 days when I bought light weight support briefs (night and day when I was on my feet). I wore those until about 8 weeks. And then one day I just returned to my old underwear and they fit again.

I took a nightgown and PJs to the castle with me. I wore neither. I stayed in the gown they provided me. In part because my incision was weeping and I realized I didn't want blood stains on my brand new sleep wear. Once home, I wore the night gown more but I wore both.

The incision wasn't an issue as it was low. I was even able to get in my jeans (they were big post op due to fibroids) at 5 or 6 days.
