dVH/RALH Swollen belly 8 days after

My belly is so swollen. Is this normal? What can I do to help the swelling go down so that my skin doesn't hurt so much?

I think there is no normal, after reading other posts here. We'll all be different! If it really bothers you, call your doctor. It's always good to get the details directly from him or her!

If youre still having gas try using gas x or benno before meals and try walking also. I am at 5 weeks post-op and although I'm back to "normal" and back in my jeans I get "swelly belly" if I eat anything that can possibly cause gas so I avoid eating them most of the time. walking may help also.
