Hysteropexy: My successful alternative to hysterectomy (uterus healthy)

Three years ago after much thought and advice from my surgeon I opted for a hysteropexy and bladder and rectal repair at the same time. This surgery was done robotically at UCLA Hospital.

Three years on this surgery has transformed my life, I can go on long walks and am able to resume an active lifestyle.I am extremely happy with the outcome.

When I had the surgery I was 61. I had almost no downtime and stopped taking painkillers after about four days, however everybody is different.
Before the surgery everything was uncomfortable and my enjoyment of walking was limited. Now I am leading an absolutely normal life and am enjoying a good quality of life.
