Hysterectomy scheduled for this coming Thursday

I love this board, you guys are great. I have enjoyed reading all the questions and answers that I never thought of. I have my surgery scheduled for this coming Thursday. I like many of you are horrified, but the posts about how others feel after surgery and recovery time have eased my mind very much. Thank you all for so thoroughly covering everything, that i might have questions about. You have all made me not so afraid, and gave me lots of questions to ask on Monday when I see the doctor. I am so glad I have found you all, I am not so alone now.

Good luck with your op. I am sure you will do fine, and will feel much better later. Takes time. Remember, if you are not in the recovery stage you think you should be, don't beat yourself up about it. It takes time. Depending on what you are suffering now, and what is being done, has a lot to do with recovery. Most of all, please listen to your body. You are tired, rest. No house work Lady.
