Yoga-Post Op Hysterectomy 10 Weeks?

Hi there...I had a total hysterectomy, ovaries included, via DaVinci robot on 7/16 so I am 10 weeks post op...was wondering if anyone has entertained starting beginner's Yoga and do you know if that kind of exercise is okay to start doing yet? Thanks...

Of course it's best to check with your doctor, but I was cleared to go back to high impact water aerobics at 8 weeks. The exercise is pretty intense. Felt a little sore after the first few classes, but otherwise in ill effects.

If you have been cleared by your dr, you should be able to do any exercise. Of course you might need to start a little slowly because your stamina may not be where it was before surgery yet.

Thank you both! My stamina is definitely not where it was pre-hysterectomy but hopefully it will gradually improve as time goes by!
