its time for R&R in early post op

Hello ladies...Have you ever said to yourself or to others; I would sure love to have some time off work and just have some rest and relaxation...I have...and funny thing is having this surgery i have had that time off to rest and relax, and you know what happens is that yes the first week off i was definitely bed ridden,,but then into the 2nd week i had a very hard time resting, relaxing and doing nothing that i was so very bored and was going nuts wanting to do something, and i did do more than i should have...so funny how i really wanted to have some R&R but when i got it i was totally bored and frustrated and my body hurt from doing nothing, i had aches and muscle sorness from walking so slow and squatting instead of bending over lol lol lol....too funny...so not sure i will ever use those words again of ever wanting time off to do just nothing,,,ime human and i know i have to keep moving and doing...lol,,,"But i do miss the early days of post op with all that warm, nuturing time"....lol my emotions and thoughts are all over the board today and i just had to share this thought....

I can't agree with you more. I don't even know how to react to people who say "You are SO lucky or I am SO jealous!"

I will never want to lay around and do nothing for weeks ever again!

Re: its time for R&R in early post op

lol i know...a few days of doing nothing but just R&R is wonderful, but doing absolutely nothing and i mean nothing for long time day after day, yep can actually make my body more sore and stiff than when i do my exercise workouts lol...its a different type of aches and pains lol...but to say as well ime really not looking forward to getting back into the crazy, busy, hectic rountines from day to day,..so where is the balance...guess thats where ime at,,,ime realizing i desire to make some changes in my life to find a healthy balance,,, cuz i go to extremes in my life at times its amazingly crazy with work overload and unbalance in emotions, to a point where at times i just want to run away and hide and find quiet...so i guess thats why my ending words to everyone is "peace be with you'" as this is my desire...
