Got my date

Well it looks like it will be Mon. Aug. 18th for me. Went yesterday and he said it in a funny tone. Well we decided the 18 is that fine for you. Me in a ???ing look well I guess. Got to do bowel preop just an emena(sp) and clear liquids on Sun. Got to be there at 6:30 there going to do it at 8:30 Fri I've got to go and do blood work ekg and pee test all the normal test at the hospital. Will be in there for 3 days. I'm a nerves wreck can't take any asprian(sp) and my head is killing me. But I do have my bag packed. Well I guess I'll see ya'll on the other side very soon. And hope things will go well.

It is normal to be a little nervous, take a deep breath. I was nervous as well, it was all I thought about. I had my surgery early and that did help, so not so long of a wait . It helps to think about only the positive things for having your surgery as you approach your date. I also stayed very busy to keep my mind occupied elsewhere.

You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Try not to be too nervous, try doing things that would take your mind of the op, i hope all goes well for you and you have a sucessful surgery and a speedy recovery.

I will be praying for you, please fill us in as soon as you can don' t overdo.(after surgery)
