Tomorrow is THE day for me

Hi Ladies,

Just wanted to post that tomorrow morning at 7:30 is my surgery TAH/BSO. Just wanted to post that I am a little bit scared but I am in constant pain and I am sort of looking forward to the day that I can be pain free. With lots of prayers I know this can and will happen.
I know there are a couple others who are also having their surgeries tomorrow and I just wanted to let them know that they will also be in my thoughts and prayers.

I will post as soon as possible, hopefully on Thursday. ;O)

Hello and best of luck to you for tomorrow.Would you think I was crazy if I told you I was almost excited to get to the hospital??!!I knew they couldn't possibly do anything worst to me than what I had been through just anticipating the surgery.And it seemed that before I could get good and asleep I was back in my room and I was POST-OP!!!What wonderful words.I hope you have a wonderful recovery and remember that the way you take care of yourself now determines how you will feel for a long time.Prayers to you for tomorrow!

I had my surgery on the 23rd of July and I remember feeling really nervous right up until I got to the hospiatl and then it was OK!

I had a smile on my face after surgery (Oh yes - I was in pain) but they controlled that with meds. I had a smile because I had done it! I finally had the surgery and was on the road to a healthier me.

You will be too as of tomorrow.

Ask for medication when you need it. The pain doesn't last forever and you get through it. Be good to yourself.
