Pain near belly

I started moving into normal activity this week, including running. 6-weeks post op. I'm starting to feel a little pain near my belly button. It is settle. I haven't taking pain meds since 2- weeks post. It's nowhere near painful enough for meds. Im not even tired. Swelly belly is minimal even when i work out. I feel great mostly. But I am paranoid about hernias and adhesions. I know that pain is normal still, but how do you know when something is not normal?

There will probably be new pains and aches as you go back to your normal routine. Remember initial recovery from the surgery is 6 - 8 wks, with full recovery 6 mos-1 yr. Just continue to listen to your body. Its good it doesn't need pain meds, I'd probably call the dr if it got that bad. But maybe ease into things and maybe not go as hard as your normally would until your body is re-acclimated.
