One week post op headaches

I am one week post-op TAH kept ovaries. Have had a migraine on and off all week tonight was the worst one of my life. Any tips? I talked to the advice nurse and got the typical answers do this not that etc...anyone else experience dibilitating migraines?

I usually get the occassional headache but I've had ALOT of headaches borderline migraines since my op. I'm nearly 4weeks.
I just take nurofen or panadol and they go but I don't like it one bit.
I think it is a possible side effect. I hope it doesn't hang around though.

I didn't have debilitating migraines but I certainly had bad headaches. I posted something here and someone mentioned it could be the Motrin I was taking. I still find it odd since that is what I usually take for a headache. I stopped taking it after talking to my dr and being told I could take Aleve and it did help. Anyway, could it be your pain meds? I hope you get some answers soon as dealing with a migraine and post-op issues must really stink.

Thanks. I will ask about the Motrin since that is all I am taking for the pain. Never had a problem with it before but you never know.

I also was going to say it may be your pain meds as I know mine can give me a headache
