Scheduled surgery today
I'm going in for surgery on Feb. 9, 2012. Had to see Doc today for annual and to discuss surgery.
I have the worlds greatest doctor, I trust him , am comfotable with him and feel at ease from out conversation today.
Of course I'm nervous about surgery, but I have a great support team in place.
Sister will take my dogs, whom I will miss dearly while I recover, but I can't have my 100+ pound lap dog around then, he is a mommas' boy.
Hubby is taking vacation then so he can be with me.
All players in place, now it's up to me to be strong and recover strong.

Re: Scheduled surgery today
Good Luck with your surgery! I had LAVH two weeks ago and so for everything has been going well. I have been diligent about following doctors orders regarding recovery. It sounds like you already have some good plans in place regarding your recovery. This website will be a great source of information for you, too.

Re: Scheduled surgery today
You sound like you have made some great plans to aid in your recovery. Allow yourself time to heal, and allow DH to help you. Recovery can take a while. Your job will be to rest, rest, rest and be a . Remember you only get one chance to heal right.
