1 week post -OP. Is this normal?

I had a BSO one week ago. No HRT because BRCA 2 . So far I feel Ok but have noticed a few things and wondered if they were normal. Had Laproscopic surgery.
First, 2 of my incisions look fine. They are healing well. Not sure about the 3rd. Still alot of swelling and puffiness...just on that one side which looks awful. Going back to work tomorrow and can't button my pants!!! It almost looks like there is an indentation in my stomach. Will the swelling continue to go down or is this the way it is? Also still sore. Hard to get up from a chair or from lying down. Stopped taking pain meds.
Still some vaginal bleeding. Not heavy.
Also have periods of lightheadedness. Could this have anything to do with hormones (or lack of them)?

Bso 12/11

Hello,

I had a BSO back in December and I am still recovering. The incision on the right side is still very tender and sometimes aches. The hardest thing for me is dealing with the hormone issues. I also cannot take any HRT due to family history of OVCA . The best advice I can give is to take care of your body and get some exercise slowly. My swelling did not go down for 2 weeks. You will fell better soon I promise. I feel so much better without my ovaries!!!!!
