Curious

Its been over a year since my hysterectomy. Still trying to figure out hormones and the changes that have occurred since the hyst..seems like its been a roller coaster.

I was curious as to whether any other sisters on here have continued lower back pain since their hyst? Mine is worse at night during laying down, and by morning its so uncomfortable that I have to get out of bed.

My surgeon said this was a common complaint post hyst..but it just seems like it should be getting better over time.

Anyone else experience this or have advice?

I have had more lower back pain since the surgery (I am only 8 weeks post op) but I am contributing that to the lack of abdominal usage and hope that once I can resume abdominal exercises I will feel alot better. I cannot do those exercises for another month though. Perhaps this could be the same issue for yourself. If you have week ab muscles the lower back will suffer. Hope this is the answer
