TLH: Reaction to pre-op bowel prep or my first hot flush ?

Countdown continues. Only six hours till I am in the castle. Just wondering what sort of reactions to bowelprep are normal? Drank glass as instructed at dinner time last night then midnight woke with severe nausea and shaking all over. Excessive sweating as well. Did any others get this as well! My hubby has had is prep before a colonoscopy with no troubles at all.

I have not heard of that at all. I did not experience that at all with my bowel prep. Just a bit of constipation, which is expected. I did magnesium citrate.

I would definitely call or tell your doctor - you are almost going to leave soon. Let them know what happened....
