Sexual Dreams

Hello sisters! This may be a strange question but here goes....I had a TAH 6 days ago and I came home this past Saturday. Every night I have been having very vivid sexual dreams, what's up with this. Sex is the furthest thing from my mind right now. Am I losing it or what???? I've never had dreams like this in my life!

must be a hormone drop thingy!kinda wishin i had those dreams..would make the recovery alot more better!

I had those too... as do many of my bff's. Hormones are a cruel thing -- surge when you can't do anything about it... and then wane when you can! Enjoy the dreams !

I have had the vivid dreams often. I am not sure if it is a hormonal thing or if it is the knowledge of not being able to have sex.

I went through this when I had my surgery. I also have these dreams when DH was in Iraq. Anytime that he was gone for any length of time for work I would have these dreams also.

I figured the reason I was having the dreams was a mixture of hormones, being told I couldn't do it for a while, and knowing I couldn't get pregnant anymore. I had only been with DB for 4 months when I had the surgery, and also chalked it up to the new relationship. I say enjoy the dreams, and just remember, you can still have finger to clit stimulation before you get the ok for everything else.

I also got the dreams after surgery...they are quite a shock, aren't they?!

Hello Sisters, I'm new here and I have been lurking for a week now.
This post really made me smile nad I felt I had to contribute at last!
I also had the most vivid (and most interesting) sexual dream at the hospital, four days after surgery :-)
I was amazed with all the pain and discomfort I was experiencing during those days, I wouldn't have expected any sexual desires...
It was a fascinating experience. I don't think it is a hormone thing though since I kept my ovaries.
Talked about it with a good friend and she said it might be a sign of giong into a new more liberated phase. If it is, I cant wait to get there ;-)

I had the dream experience, too. Funny considering how long I was having problems and zero libido. It was a pleasant surprise to find that some part of me was still awake, even if only in "virtual reality"!

LOL we had a thread about this a couple of weeks ago. HoooEEEE what dreams!!! Mine were so good, a couple of times I woke up to having the "Big 'O'"!! Personally, I'm just going to enjoy them while they last - when I get released for 'doing the deed' I have no one to do it with at this time. Wah!

Dream on ladies - and those of you with partners, just let them WONDER why you're so dang smiley when you wake up! LOL
