Bleeding after intercourse

My hysterectomy was done back in May and I am still having painful intercourse. I know this may be TMI but if I lay on my stomach and it's done that way then it doesn't hurt as much, but if I am on my back it's painful. Weird! I don't know. Well today I was on my back and it was a little painful nothing major, but after when I wiped I had some bleeding. It was nothing major and only lasted a few minutes and then was fine.

Is this normal?
Should I be concerned that I am still having painful intercourse?
Should I make an appt with my ob?

My first thought is hormones and/or sufficient lubrication?

Bot for peace of mind I would probably go and talk it over with my Dr, especially if it has always been painful and the bleeding is a new thing.

I would agree... perhaps there is some granulation issue.. I would definitely call at least and don't be afraid to ask about the position thing..
Maybe there is something going on in there that needs to be checked out.

I haven't had any blood all day and just went to the bathroom and had a bit more bleeding.......again after a few minutes it stopped, but this time it was more than there was this morning. I am wondering if maybe I kinda tore a little and it's causing the bleeding? It never felt like it, but who knows.

Please go to your doctor!!! I had a tah and had bleeding several months afterwards. I was nearly at my six month mark and ready for my post op appt. I put it off, thought nothing of it, maybe it was too rough, maybe my cuff was finally healing, etc...I guessed and pushed it aside. When I did get in to see my gyne for my six month checkup he found a 10cm cyst on my right ovary. The ovary/cyst is actually what was bleeding. When my doctor was in for the TAH the cyst was not there. Yes, it grew that big and that fast. I was wheeled in to the or for yet another surgery to remove this. Please do not wait and do not hesitate to tell your dr everything. If you don't tell him then he does not know. Go see you dr.
