Yeast Infection or what???????? Help

having a hysterectomy doesnt free you from the dreaded yeast infection.
if youre sure its a yeast infection then you can try an OTC remedy. However it would probably be best to see your Dr so you can be properly diagnosed and treated accordingly.
stay well

Yeast Infection or what???????? Help

i got the start of one the other day - just slapped a bit of cream on before it could take hold. Phone your doc, but an OTC remedy should be fine - our pharamacists here are very knowlegeable and would give advice on if any medications shouldn't be taken together etc

Yeast Infection or what???????? Help

Hi,
I had a hysterectomy and kept my ovaries 12/01/2004.
Two times during this time, I tought I had a yeast infection.
Thank God I am a Medical Technologist because I run several test
which indicated NO YEAST at all. I just have this white very small amount of discharge (if that much) from time to time. My Doctor gave me a cream. I just put a small amount one time and the iching is gone.
The white discharge shows to be normal "good" bacteria.
The first time I had it, Doc. said it might be an allergy reaction.
By the way, I am 42 as well.
