I had TLH w/ salpingo-ooph da-vinci performed on Dec 6th and returned to work at 3 weeks. Overall recovering well, with a few hiccups along the way. Dealing with new menopausal systems, night sweats are the worst, but no HRT yet. Still having some issues with inconsistent urine steam and discomfort with BMs. Most days are good, some very emotional. I had my six week post op visit yesterday. Doc said overall recovery is going well, but my cuff sutures have not healed, prescribed an antiobiotic and 2 week follow up. US and BM issues should've been better by now, but may be inflamation. Taking the day off today to rest.
My motto before the surgery was I would be a new woman in the new year. Not quite there yet, but at least moving in that direction. Thankful I've had this site and all of you to help me through my recovery process.
