Getting a little Nervous

Hi, everyone. I have been tired and weak, can't sleep. Is this normal? I have so many mixed emotions.

Getting a little Nervous

I went though a boatload of anxiety and worry. Very luckily I was so busy work-wise a week before my surgery that I did not have time to think. I threw myself into a very involved project (some of the busy-ness was self created, as this was the only way I knew how to cope) before I knew it I was being wheeled in and out and it was over. It will be for you too. I am now 9 days post-op doing great. Every day gets better and better. Hang in there - waiting is the worst part. My best wishes and prayers are with you-ladies-in-waiting.

Getting a little Nervous

It is normal to be nervous. I am now 17 days post-op and I can remember the week before I was having a hard time thinking about anything else. I also worked which helped a great deal but like a lot of the other ladies here tell you it will be over before you know it. I can't believe I'm already this many days past my surgery and I feel I'm doing pretty well considering I also have Rheumatoid Arthritis. I think that is bothering me more at this point. As far as the surgery, I get around pretty well now and wore a pair of my jeans today and some make-up. My son took me out for a short drive and I enjoyed it so much. You will do well and like I was told before (and so true) the waiting is really the hardest part. Take care and prayers and hugs to you
