what is andriometris?

Is it possible that what they found was adenomyosis? That's a condition where the lining of the uterus is thickened. Endometriosis is the condition where the uterine lining moves outside the uterus and starts bothering other areas (the colon, the outside of the uterus, etc.).

If what your doctors found was indeed adenomyosis, the good news is that the hyst took care of the problem.

Hope this helps.
