Help 9 months post hysterectomy - swelly belly and frequent urination

Hi ladies i had a partial hysterectomy 9 months ago. 1 ovary...since i been peeing every 15 min..i have no infections. Im also still dealing with swelly belly. Am i the only one? Im feeling like i was better off with the 3 fibroids. I just dont feel good.

Contact your primary Dr..You may need a referral to a urologist or a urogynocologist..Sometimes the pelvic floor muscles can weaken, & bladder issues. Theres medication also for an overactive bladder.

Swelly belly, well it hangs on more than its welcome. Watch the sodium in your diet-its everywheres. The more active you become, the more it will swell. It had improved for me over time but I would get it (to a lesser degree) but closer to a year.(I had uterine fibroids w an enlarged uterus thanks to those fibroids).

Ugh! I'm sorry you are going through this, but happy I'm not alone! I have not felt any pain, but just feel bad. Nearly three weeks out, the swelling and general feeling of " yuckiness" are just overwhelming! I know it is still too soon to expect a full rebound, but I'm starting to regret my decision to have the surgery!

I was feeling the same way however it will get better as time goes by. That feeling will go away. And i sure dont miss all that heavy bleeding and pain i was in due to fibroids. I dont like the peeing at all and sometimes ill regret having the surgery but when i think about all the pain i was in i rather endure this. Take it easy on yourself..it will get better. When i find out about this bladder problem ill let you know. We will get through this. God bless
