Just for a chuckle!

First let me say that I've known my SO for almost 30 years - he hasn't been my SO that long, though. And I've been going to my DD for 22 years.......

When my surgery was originally scheduled, the date was May 7. The office called back a few days later to postpone surgery because DD would be out of town the week of May 7. When I went for pre-op yesterday, my SO asked DD if he was going that week to take a refresher course on this surgery. DD said no, but he would have an instruction book during the surgery, and have someone read it to him as he went along.

They better not say things like that once I'm a princess or I may turn them into COURT JESTERS!!

I'm glad you are feeling calmer. That's good.
I think of it this way:
When I'm late for an appiontment, and I'm rushing in the morning to make it, it's CRAZY. You all know the feeling!!! Then you get on that train, let's say, and things are out of your hands - you'll get there when you get there. The stress is over for me. I'm still in a rush, but taking it easy like I don't have a care in the world. Anybody had the same reaction?
