also, how soon are kegals allowed?

Are doing kegals always generally allowed after 2 weeks? (I forgot to ask my dr.)
Does it make a difference with an A&P repair?

I don't know but I remember trying soon after and it didn't hurt so I figured it can't be any worse than trying to have a BM!

Kegals are one of the simple exercises you should be able to do as long as they don't cause pain. It's a good idea in fact to do all you can to strengthen your pelvic floor. There's an article with some safe and simple Exercises that can be done very soon after your sugery and will help ease you back into your normal routine over time. Take your time and never push your body to do what it's telling you it isn't ready to do.
