DR. cleared me for everything but....

sex....ugh. My hubby was so disappointed. He was like a little kid that woke up to no presents at christmas. I had granulation tissue and had silver nitrate applied. Thanks to this website I knew what the heck he was talking about. He told me that I could resume sex this weekend.
said all looked good in there except for the tissue he removed. I have the ashy discharge from it but no blood.
He lifted all restrictions and I can do any exercise I want. Just no sex...I am glad it will only be another day or two. Now how will I know it is ok? When the discharge is gone?
I was still very tender in there so I told hubby I am nervous to have him poking around in there. The nitrate didn't really hurt at all but when he felt around in there it hurt a bit...more than I thought it would.
I am so glad this part is all over I was o nervous today and I got good news. I was so nervous I had a hole in my cuff or something..I am a worry wart.

I don't know if I would do anything until the dr checks you again, but that's just me. Did he/she say you could have sex in a day or two?

I was like that, released for everything except sex. He told me to wait an extra 7-10 days, but I didn't want to do anything until he gave me a thorough re-check.

It seems like everything rides on that six-week mark, doesn't it?

I am doing great, feeling really good. Can't imagine the internal exam I face Monday, let alone sex. I feel so protective of everything below my belly button at this point....

Yup he said you should be ready for sex this weekend and said I was all done. So I am assuming if the ashy discharge is done then I am ready.

If he cleared you then it sounds like you're good to go. If you're ready for it. If you're nervous that's really understandable! Just tell hubby to go slow!
