What was your experience with pain, catheter, discomfort?

Hi Erin! So glad it's over for you! I know you were scared but now that's it's over can you give us any advise who now have to face this? How was your pain? Discomfort? Any in the vaginal area? Catheter? Any details you can share will surely be helpful.

I'm not gonna sugar coat it but my pain has been rough. Most of it at the lap incision sites. I'm using a heating pad on my back and that seems to help plus taking my meds as prescribed. Vaginal discomfort is worse today than its been. Feels like a dry tampon stuck.up.there.

I had a foley Cath upon awakening from surgery and it stayed until Thursday morning. My bladder is still pretty stunned so to speak so peeing is difficult.and somewhat painful.
