TAH: pre op in the am

Surgery is on 8/13.

I remember my pre-op about 6 days before the surgery. That is when it really hit home for me. I remember thinking, wow.... this really is going to happen, isn't it! I think two days later I had a major freakout!

I know this is such an overwhelming experience. We are here for you, and understand what you are going through.

Pre-op hit me like a Mack truck. I walked out of the pre-op appt and bawled my eyes out! It's such a big deal. Let us know of any concerns or anything--this is an amazing support network. Hopefully, you also have great support at home. I'll be thinking of you tomorrow!

I had my little pre-op today. It was just blood work and a urine test but they made me wear a red hospital bracelet until my surgery Friday. I have a reminder on my wrist and it is really hitting home for me. I wish you a good appointment
