I have spent the weekend getting ready for surgery this Friday

I have mowed the grass (front & back yard), grocery shopped, packed for the hospital, brought winter clothes up from the basement to sort through and hang, put all my recovery "stuff" within easy reach, dropped off 2 prescriptions, AND shampooed my carpets.

I also picked up my daughter's dress from the cleaners for her homecoming, which is the same day that I am supposed to come home from the hospital. We also bought her shoes.

Whew, I think I have covered everything covered. I work through Wednesday, do the "cleanse" on Thursday, and then am off to the Castle on Friday morning.

Is there anything I am missing?

Do you have some fun reads and maybe some tasty chocolate for while you rest after you get home?

Best wishes for an easy going recovery.

Wow. You are way ahead of me. My head is in he clouds today. My day is Thurs. I have stocked my pantry and tried to get food items together so the family can cook while I am layed up. I figure I will just leave most of the cleaning up the my DH.

Yeah, now I am so exhausted that I settled for a bowl of Cheerios for dinner. I am going have a nice warm bubble bath and read part of my English assignment. (Did I forget to mention I am also a part-time college student?)

Re: I have spent the weekend getting ready for surgery this Friday

Right now, my major is Accounting and I am in my second year. (I currently work in the accounting dept at our company, handling the Accounts Payable.) I did apply a few days ago to enter the nursing program at another school near my house. There are some pre-requisites that I would have to take first and I am waiting to hear back from them.

More waiting for you?? GEEEZZ! lol. I have been lucky enough to be able to be a homemaker and do photography from home but it has taken off a little more than i thought it would and now am thinking of going back to school for the buisness part of it but with recovery it's gonna have to wait a bit.

Been a busy bee you have.
I kinda did what you did except, got hubby and my friend Meg to do it all lol. Honestly if I could do it I would, to help make the time pass faster.
Take care
