Sex seven weeks post hysterectomy and anterior vaginal repair

I am 7 weeks post hysterectomy and anterior vaginal repair. My doctor told me I was going to have a rectocele also but after my surgeries she told me that she did not do the rectocele. When I shower, I feel a lump towards the back of my vagina. So I m thinking that is the rectum coming out. But my problem I am concerned about, my doctor said I could have sex at the six week check up. I had sex with a man who has a very large penis. It was not rough but I had a lot of bleeding. The bleeding went throughout the next day and then stopped. Is that normal after these surgeries. Or does size make a difference after these surgeries.

I really don't know if size makes a difference, but I do know that if you had a "lot of bleeding" that is usually a sign that you need to see your doctor. If nothing else, you should let her know what happened so she can determine if it is normal for you with the conditions you have. Some women have a bit of spotting and a little bleeding that the doc has said is normal, but many of us have none. Have you told her about your concern about prolapse? If not, you should let her know about both. Keep us posted.
