2 weeks post hysterectomy: I think I over did it

I am 2 weeks post LAVH. I am a Realtor and I showed a house today. First one since my surgery. My hubby drove me. Well, the house had a ton of stairs. By the time I went up and down 6 flights of stairs total. Plus walking up a steep driveway. Afterwards, the Hubby and I went out to eat. I was very y uncomfortable. I had to use the bathroom. When I wiped there was some blood. I had not bleed since my surgery except for a tiny bit of spotting the day after surgery. I started to get really sore and crampy. I was in to much pain to eat. I came home and took a pain pill and sat on couch. I did stop bleeding. Is this normal? I go in for 2 week appointment tomorrow. Thanks f oi r any help!

Re: I think I over did it

Yup, you were over active. During my post, if I over did things I began to bleed again, which my doctor told me was a sign of over doing things. I got a lecture for it from him. It is best to slowly work your way up to regular activities. The docs want you to walk, but not a marathon! Especially with stairs. Be prepared for questions like how much blood lost, how bad was the cramping, etc. Get some rest though sister. It still is considered a major surgery.
