1 week post op LSO-LSH......Chocolate, insomnia and phantom cramps

Well I can't believe it has been one week already! The fear, excitment and anticipation leading up to the surgery seems like a distant memory. I am feeling pretty good I still have pain but it is managable. I haven't had many of the symptoms that other sisters have had but I also know that everyone is different.

There are some strange symptoms like an insane increase in my cravings for chocolate and my appetite has gone up dramatically. Is this something other women have experienced? Also my skin on my face is horribly dry and I swear there isn't enough lotion in the world to make it better.

Also I am having phantom cramps and today my left side hurts the exact way it did before my surgery when my left ovary was stuck to my pelvic wall...I sure hope this is just a part of healing and the pain isn't coming back. Is anyone else finding themselves hungry ALL the freaking time since surgery?

This may be TMI but I was talking with my DH this evening and we were discussing sex and our concerns when we get to the 6 week post op and even though I am not at all interested in sex right now or even in 5 weeks I got a bit turned on just talking about it. This made my surgical pain on the inside flare up and hurt worse, am I the only women who is experiencing this? How does getting aroused make pain worse, and it also made my phantom uterus pains worse.
