In the grand scheme this is nothing, but...
Does anyone know how to get off all this adhesive I have all over me from surgical tape, bandages, etc.? I really hate to scrub such tender areas and know there must be an easier way??
Thanks, cjcj

Vaseling works great, just rub a little on before you get in the shower, and it should come right off. Ir it does not, may I suggest baby oil, and some rubbing alcohol. When I was using the HRT patch, I had the leftover adhesive when the patch was removed, and the vaseline worked great for me, if the adhesive is really really sticky, let the vaseline sit on the skin for a few minutes before getting in the shower. It should come right off.
happy shower!!!!

Thanks Snickers -- as I said in the grand scheme it really is a minor thing, but it has been driving me crazy! I'll send out my DP to pick some up for me on the way home from work tomorrow.

Baby oil is really good at taking off the adhesive. I am using Vivelle dot for HRT and even though my skin is not sensitive I swear you can tell where my dots have been placed for the last 3 weeks, the adhesive is gone but the redness marks the spot.

You are truly welcome cjcj-
It may seem minor, but when you are healing even small things can become a huge inconvience. I think it is because you have too much time to think about it. I know the adhesive on my belly where the doc placed the steri strips, after the staples came out, drove me insane.
I hope you are adhesive free this morning.
huge hugs

I used rubbing alcohol alone, it was fast. Then made sure to lotion up afterwards. I remember it was a long time until I cared, cause I just hurt really bad and was on a lot of pain meds, probably two weeks, maybe more! Then one day I said jeez, maybe I should do something about all this adhesive mess all over me!
