3 Weeks Post DaVinci - Freaking Bladder!

I'm feeling good three weeks post. Still very tired certain points of the day, but my bladder is STILL adjusting. How freaking long does it take for it to settle down. Some days it's fine, others I have minor spasms. I had ovaries, uterus and cervix removed and my stitches from the uterus removal are right near the bladder so I'm assuming the healing is part of it. UGH! I just want to feel normal again.

Re: 3 Weeks Post DaVinci - Freaking Bladder!

I am almost 4 weeks out, my bladder is better this week. At week three, I felt pain if I needed to urinate. The double you over type of pain. That has stopped. I also felt like I was "leaking" urine. I am wearing a panty liner all the time now. Occasionally, I have light pink spotting. I think it's all part of the healing process. I hope this helps. I am feeling better everyday. I pray you will too. This is all so scary!

Thanks Pamela!! I know the bladder is adjusting to its new environment but it is scary because I have anxiety to begin with then I start thinking it won't ever go away and I will have this forever. Irrational, but that is anxiety!
