Sharp poke in my vagina. Concerned.

I feel a sharp poke on one side of my vagina. I am almost 5 weeks out. However, my healing was slowed by an illeus. I was in the castle for 10 days. So I don't feel 5 weeks out. I was still having fevers. Pain.I still have pain.
This surgery is harder than I anticipated.

Sounds like you may have a stitch out of place and causing pain. It also sounds like some of the other sisters' descriptions of granulation pain. I would suggest a visit to the doc to check things out. It just doesn't seem quite right.

Blessings,
Paula

Hi CarynC
I agree you should call your dr and have this checked. You probably are not at 5 wks with your healing but this sharp pain doesn't sound normal. I hope you get so feeling better soon. Let us know what you find out.

Doctor said it is my vag cuff healing. She said I am a rare case of a slow healer. She also said that the illeus I had slowed things down.

Sharp poke in my vagina. Concerned.

I had some sharp shooting type pains on my right side. I only experienced this a few times, but knew I had not done anything to harm my recovery. So I did not worry.

I asked my DR at my 6 week post op and he said this was normal. BUT, I have no idea if this is what you have. Call your DR and be sure.

Wishing you the best. Keep us posted, OK?
