Questions on drainage and six week checkup

I'm in week four and my surgeon said I would not drain 'long' but I am still draining enough to need a pad. I am curious what the average is and so wanted to ask my sisters, how long did you drain after your procedure?

I learn so much everyday like today I have been reading about the six week check and discovered that many (maybe all?) had a pelvic exam? Is that true? What else can I expect at this six week check? What is a silver nitrate treatment? If I am still draining will I get that? Did it hurt?

Thanks in advance for all your help!

Questions on drainage and six week checkup

Hi!

I started spotting at 10 days post-op and finally stopped on my 5th week post-op. I haven't had my 6 week check-up yet so I can't answer your next question. Sorry...
