Prolapse

Just curious if you ladies that have already had your surgery had any problems with prolapse (your bladder or any other organ "falling out of place")? I have had a few ladies at work have a bladder suspension at the same time as their hyster but my doctor said nothing about anything moving out of place after surgery. I have no incontinence issue right now but I am still concerned. I have spoken to several ladies that said they had no problems with prolapse after their surgery & they were 5+ years out. Any info would help. Thanks! God bless!

I haven't heard of any who have but I am one of the un-lucky that has prolapse of uterus, bladder (cyctocele) and small intestine/rectum (rectocele). Lovely huh!!! I'm worried about having it fixed and then having them prolapse again. My even bigger concern is a vaginal vault prolapse. Two weeks ago, I had never heard of these things...except uterine prolapse because it runs in my family. Good luck to you!!!

I am exactly 9 months post-op and have not had any bladder prolapse issues. In fact, my bladder is quite a bit happier because my large ovarian cyst (the reason for my hyster) was taking up so much space it was pushing my bladder, uterus and other organs around. I also had fibroids on my uterus.
